FreeMoreWest has experienced considerable revitalization in recent years, specifically along the Freedom Drive/West Morehead corridor. Joining the mix, is Stophel Commercial Properties who has recently closed on a 55,000-square-foot industrial property, located at 1921 Freedom Drive. The space, formerly known as Berry Manufacturing, will house two of the company's growing businesses, Carpet One and the Stophel REO Group.
The 2nd Annual FreeMoreWest 5K is on the way! We're seeking partners to assist with donations of goods, services and financial contributions. This year, we're offering various levels of sponsorships to include a Presenting Headline Sponsorship and a number of Venue Sponsorship opportunities. If you would like an opportunity to boost exposure and market to an urban, up and coming demographic, please download our full sponsorship packet.
FreeMoreWest residents- are you interested in making a positive impact on your community, but are only able to dedicate limited hours per month? If so, serving on the Housing Appeals Board for the City of Charlotte may be a great fit for you. The primary responsibility of board members is to hear appeals from decisions or orders of the Code Enforcement Official, as provided in Chapter 11 of the city code. Members commit approximately 2.5 hours per month and meet on the 2nd Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interested parties should visit the City Clerk's website in order to submit an application for review.
